Wycombe Youth Action – Apprentice opportunity
We’re offering young people aged between 16 and 18 the opportunity to complete 30 hours of free training to become apprenticeship ready. We will provide all the support needed to take part in on-the-job experience in a specific trade. In partnership with our contractors and Wycombe Youth Action Building Chances, this pilot programme lets you explore different types of trades before committing to a real apprenticeship. Real work experience will help make you work ready to join the construction sector and understand the key skills you need to complete an apprenticeship. Through local area funding from Bucks County Council, this programme is open to people aged between 16 and 18 specifically, within the Wycombe area who are not in education, employment or training but have an interest in the construction industry. All you need to do is complete the application form and email to HR@redkitehousing.org.uk .
